About Me

I am originally from Eswatini, a small country in Southern Africa, where I spent most of my childhood. I moved to Scotland in 2012 to begin my training journey, where I completed qualifications in Psychology (BSc), Career Counselling (PgDip) and Psychotherapy (MSc). In addition to these qualifications, I have also completed specialist training in mindfulness-based interventions and online counselling. Over this time I also explored Scotland, spending many days hiking in the hills, camping and wild swimming. In addition to being outdoors, I also love to read, spend time with our three dogs and travelling - I often share my time between the UK and Africa.

I have always valued the importance of emotional and psychological support and aim to use my skills, knowledge and training to support people in their journey towards personal and professional growth and change. I am passionate about supporting others to: learn their strengths, overcome challenges, build a compassionate self-relationship, and to live a fulfilling and nourishing life.

My approach to therapy:

I offer a confidential, professional and bespoke therapeutic service with a safe space to explore emotions, life challenges, lifestyle changes or more complex psychological difficulties.

I value congruency, unconditional positive regard and empathy as key components to an effective, empowering and safe therapeutic relationship.

My approach to therapy is Person-Centred, whilst also incorporating Cognitive Behavioural models, Mindfulness-Based Interventions and creative tools. I believe that every individual is unique and different and so I aim to integrate a range of approaches to therapy if needed.
